Patriarch of Antioch John X continues pastoral visit to Oman

The Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Beatitude John X, was received this week by Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Fahd bin Mahmoud, in the capital of Muscat.
During the meeting with the Antioch Patriarch, the minister expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s appreciation and respect for all religions.

In reply, His Beatitude praised the fact that Oman, which occupies the northeast corner of the Arabian Peninsula, will allocate land for the construction of a church for the Orthodox faithful in the Sultanate.
