Feast day of Prokopios the Great Martyr
The Church today venerates the memory of Prokopios the Great Martyr, and his mother, Theodosia the Martyr. Also, following a decision by the Sacred and Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in 2019, July 8 is commemorated as the Synaxis of All Military Saints.
