Rev. Protopresbyter John Angel Receives Archbishop’s Blessing Upon Retirement
August 2, 2022, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros received the Rev. Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne John Angel at the Archdiocese. Fr. Angel, who currently serves the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Newburgh, NY, received the Archbishop’s blessing upon his retirement— effective August 1, 2022— after 45 years of ordained ministry service to the Archdiocese.
