President of the Hellenic Republic at Panagia Ekatontapiliani of Paros
The President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou was present at the Divine Liturgy and Doxology Service which took place at the Holy Prilgrimage Church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani in Paros, Greece.
In her statement after the end of the Divine Services, Mrs. Sakellaropoulou stated that “We celebrate this great day for Orthodoxy again this year, looking forward to the consoling and encouraging protection of the Mother of God”.
“With Her face, we Greeks have associated love, care for the weak, and empathy”, she added, while wishing “that these values continue to inspire us”.
