Anniversary of election of Patriarch of All Romania Daniel

Monday marked the 15-year anniversary of the election of Patriarch of All Romania Daniel.
His Beatitude was elected on Sept. 12, 2007, by members of the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Romania, as the fifth successive Archbishop of Bucharest, Metropolitan of Muntenia and Dobrogea, and Patriarch of All Romania.

One of the most prominent efforts during His Beatitude’s tenure has been the construction of the National Cathedral in Bucharest.
