Metropolis of NJ Clergy Receive Archpastoral Blessing Upon New Appointments
His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros welcomed four clergymen from the Metropolis of NJ to the Archdiocese today and offered his blessing as they begin their new assignments. Protopresbyter Matthew Streett will begin serving Holy Apostles Church in Dulles, VA; Protopresbyter Anastasios Bourantas will serve the Annunciation Cathedral in Baltimore, MD; Presbyter Nikolaos Matarangas will serve St. Athanasios Church in Paramus, NJ; and Presbyter Zissis Lappas will serve St. George Church in Media, PA. The Chancellor for the Metropolis of NJ, the V. Rev. Archimandrite Christoforos Oikonomidis, also attended the meeting.
