Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije participates in blood drive

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, donated blood over the weekend during a blood drive in Belgrade, while calling on the faithful to follow his example.
The blood drive was organized by the Serbian Red Cross and the Institute for Blood Transfusion of Serbia.

In a later statement, His Holiness noted that “…With this action of voluntary blood donation, we help those who need it in order to support them in their fight for life.”
