Holy Cincture of the Theotokos to be conveyed to St. Nicholas Cathedral of Piraeus next month

The Holy Cincture of the Theotokos, the All-Holy Virgin Mary, will be conveyed from the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi to the St. Nicholas Cathedral of Piraeus on Nov. 5, where the Holy Relic will remain until Nov. 13.

The Holy Cincture will arrive at Greece’s largest port city, located in the greater Athens area, by ship, where it will be solemnly received by the resident Metropolitan of Piraeus, His Eminence Seraphim.

The Holy Cincture will be conveyed by the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi, who will be accompanied by Vatopedi Elders.

The procession and welcoming of the Holy Relic and all the related Church services will be live-streamed by the PemptousiaTV platform.

The Elder Ephraim spoke to Pemptousia TV this week over the pending Translation of the Holy Cincture of the All-Holy Theotokos to the port city.
