The miraculous icon known in Russia as the “Savior Not Made by Hands”, a symbol of the nation’s armed forces, will be taken to all military units and formations of military districts as well as the Russian northern fleet up until August 2019.

Russian Federation Deputy Defence Minister Andrey Kartapolov was on hand last week for an official reception ceremony for the icon at the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Sevastopol.
