Four new Metropolitans of Church of Greece to be enthroned this month

The newly elected Metropolitans of four separate Metropolises of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece will be enthroned this month.
Specifically, the new Metropolitans will assume the thrones of Gortynia & Megalopoli, Aetolia & Akarnania, Drama and Ilia, namely, the Metropolitans Nikiforos, Damaskinos, Dorotheos and Athanasios, respectively.

As per standing tradition, all four hierarchs will first offer their attestation before Greece’s president of the republic, ahead of the enthronement ceremonies.
