Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije inaugurates exhibition dedicated to memory of victims of 1942 Nov Sad raid

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Tuesday inaugurated an exhibition entitled “Frozen Silence”, dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Nov Sad raid in Christmas 1942 by Hungarian occupation forces against Serbs, Jews and Roma in the Baska region.
In his address, the Serbian Patriarch emphasized that without the historical memory of the innocent victims, a nation cannot know itself.
