Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I officiates at the Divine Liturgy at celebrating parish of Constantinople

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, this week officiated at the Divine Liturgy at the ancient and celebrating parish of Megalo Revma of Constantinople, and on the occasion of the Synaxis of the Archangels, whose feast day was on Tuesday.

Speaking afterwards at the parish’s community hall, His All Holiness referred to the Archangels and all the Heavenly Bodiless Powers, and their relevance with the feast day and the Church’s modern-day mission.

The Primate of the Mother Church also welcomed pilgrims from Greece, especially citing the presence of the visiting Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece’s Metropolitans of Goumenissa and Drama, Their Eminences Demetrios and Dorotheos.
