Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije receives visiting Metropolitan of Volokolamsk Anthony

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Thursday received the visiting Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, His Eminence Anthony, who is also the Moscow Patriarchate’s chairman of the Department of External Church Relations.

The Serbian Church’s Bishop of Baska, His Grace Irinej, also attended the meeting at the Archdiocese in Belgrade.

The two sides discussed the situation in the Orthodox world, as well as relations between the fraternal Serbian and Russian Churches.
