Feature on translation of the Holy Cincture to Greece’s shipping ministry in Piraeus

A feature has been posted on the Pemptousia platform showing this month’s solemn translation of the wonder-working Holy Cincture of the Theotokos, the All-Holy Virgin Mary, to Greece’s shipping and island policy ministry, in the port of Piraeus.

The matronal Holy Relic of the Virgin Mary’s earthly existence was translated for veneration to the ministry by the resident Metropolitan of Piraeus, His Eminence Seraphim, and the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi, along with Vatopedi elders.

The Holy Relic had been translated to the St. Nicholas Cathedral of Piraeus for veneration by the faithful and clerics for almost two weeks this month.
