NEW VICARS FOR THE ARCHDIOCESAN DISTRICT RECEIVE ARCHBISHOP’S BLESSING
On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, two new Vicars for the Archdiocesan District visited the Archdiocese for an Archpastoral blessing upon their new assignments:
Rev. Protopresbyter Nikiforos Fakinos (Left of the Archbishop), appointed as the Vicar of Western Long Island, serves as the Proistamenos for the Saint Demetrios Church in Merrick, NY and Protopresbyter Constantine Lazarakis, appointed as the Vicar of Eastern Long Island, serves as the Proistamenos for the Kimissis Church in South Hampton, NY. Also in attendance is the Chancellor of the Archdiocesan District, Rev. Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Elias Villis.
