Metropolis of Piraeus’ new administrative center inaugurated

The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, on Sunday attended the inauguration of the Metropolis of Piraeus’ new administrative center, which is located next to the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, in the major port city.

Several Metropolitans and bishops of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece attended, along with office-holders, municipal officials, representative of local societies and organizations, as well as the clergy and numerous faithful.

A blessing ceremony was officiated by the resident Metropolitan, His Eminence Seraphim.
