India: Officials threaten to cut off Christians from water, electricity

In India, the latest reports of persecution against Christians involves local officials threatening to interrupt the provision of basic services, like electricity and water supply, to people if they do not convert to Hinduism.

Several Christians in the east of the Indian sub-continent reported pressure exerted on them by local officials, including threats to confiscate their land and to expel their children from local schools.
