Feast day of Stephen, Archdeacon & First Martyr of the Church of Christ

The Church today venerates the memory of Stephen, Archdeacon and First Martyr of the Church of Christ.

On the occasion, the Pemptousia television platform will post a feature today on the Holy Cathedral of St. Stephen, or Stephanos, in the Nea Ionia district of northwest Athens.

A festal Vesper was held on the eve of the feast day of St. Stephanos on Thursday at the Cathedral of the Archangels in Ermoupolis, on the Cyclades Island of Syros, officiated by the Metropolitan of Syros, His Eminence Dorotheos II.
