Bishop of Jinja Silvester co-officiates at Divine Liturgy in eastern Uganda

The Bishop of Jinja in eastern Uganda, His Grace Silvester, on Monday co-officiated at the Divine Liturgy at the resident metropolitan cathedral of the Resurrection, on the occasion of his name day, commemorating Silvester, Pope of Rome.

The services were co-officiated by the Metropolitan of Axum, His Eminence Daniel, as well as other hierarchs and clerics of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa.

Attending clerics, congregants and numerous faithful conveyed their best wishes to the resident Bishop, praying that the Lord Jesus Christ will assist him in his pastoral in the new year.
