Major exhibition on Byzantium at Nat’l Archaeological Museum of Naples

A major exhibition at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, entitled “Places, symbols and communities of a millennial empire”, recounts the fascinating and complex world of the Byzantines. The exhibition will be open until February 13.
More than four hundred works will be on display, from the museum’s own collections and loans granted by 57 Italian and Greek institutions.

Greece’s culture ministry has sent numerous artworks dating from the Byzantine period for display at the exhibition.
