Patriarchate of Antioch delegation inspects quake-damaged parishes in Hatay province

A delegation of the Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East continued inspections this week of parishes of the Patriarchate in Turkey’s Hatay province, amongst the hardest hit from the Feb. earthquakes.
On Thursday, the delegation, led by their Graces, Auxiliary Bishops Constantine and Arsensios, officiated at a trisagion memorial service at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Prophet Elijah, in the city of Samandağ, for the repose of the victims of the natural disaster.

The Patriarchate of Antioch’s delegation later travelled to the city of Arsuz, where they solemnly and painfully witnessed the complete destruction of the Cathedral of St. John the Forerunner.
