Former Taliban recounts how he found Christ

Stories continue to emerge of non-Christians, who fled Middle East and central Asian war-zones over the past years to seek refuge in EU member-state Greece, and who subsequently found Christ and converted to Christianity. One man from Afghanistan, Ahmet, recounts how as a radical Muslim and Taliban insurgent he decided to abandon violence and his war-torn country at the age of 23.

He ultimately found his way to Mount Athos in Greece, the semi-autonomous Orthodox monastic community.

His emotional journey until his eventual baptism as an Orthodox Christian is recounted today in the webpages of the Orthodoxia News Agency.
