Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in Coventry
A Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Transfiguration of our Savior Church in Coventry on the second Sunday of Lent. His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain presided, and His Grace Bishop Maximos of Melitene co-celebrated. Also in attendance were Archimandrite Christodoulos Kokliotis, the priest in charge of the church, Protopresbyter Theodore Polyvios, and Archdeacon George Tsourous.
In his powerful sermon, the Archbishop spoke about the power of faith in those around us, which can transform and make us participants in miracles, as happened with the paralytic in the Gospel.
Following the Divine Liturgy, there was a reception in the church hall and an official meal.
