Latest threats by Turkish leader on anniversary of Fall of Constantinople
Turkish President Tayyip Recep Erdogan on Wednesday took to his personal Twitter account to issue more threats against Hellenism — on the day that marked the 566th anniversary of the Fall of Constantinople in 1453.

The increasingly authoritarian Turkish leader again denied the existence of the Armenian and Pontian Greek genocides of the early 20th century, while also claiming that Greeks have not reconciled with the loss of Constantinople, modern-day Istanbul, and the Hagia Sophia.
