Metropolitan Panteleimon of Naucratis visits Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew
His Eminence Metropolitan Panteleimon of Naucratis, Chief Secretary of the Sacred and Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and all Africa, had a meeting on Monday, 12 June 2023, with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the see of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople.
During the meeting, Metropolitan Panteleimon expressed his filial love and respect for the Patriarchal Church of Constantinople and His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, while conveying the wishes and friendly feelings of His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and all Africa to Him and the Ecumenical Throne.

His Holiness thanked the Metropolitan of Naucratis for the pilgrimage visit to the martyred Phanar, as well as for his substantial contribution to the successful organisation of the meeting of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches in Alexandria, Egypt recently.
He also spoke with heartfelt words about the ongoing missionary and humanitarian work of the Alexandrian Church in Africa, while praising the sacrificial work of His Beatitude Patriarch Theodoros and his dedicated collaborators with regards to the faithful peoples of Africa.
It is noted that Metropolitan Panteleimon of Naucratis is currently in Constantinople, representing the Patriarchate of Alexandria in the proceedings of the orthodox scientific conference, which is taking place at the Theological School of Halki, with the title: “The contribution of Halki Professors and Graduates to Orthodox relations; Theological School of Halki: producer of ecclesiastical personnel of the Ecumenical Patriarchate”.
