Major blood drive by Romanian Church
A recent blood donation drive by the Romanian Church was again very successful, as the initiative took place for the sixth straight year since 2013, when it began.
More than 16,000 liters of blood were collected from more than 30,000 volunteers.
The Romanian Orthodox Church began the initiative to boost blood donations, as the rate for Romania in the past was a very low 2 percent of the public.
