On 2 November 2023, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, as a sign of affection and appreciation for Protopresbyter Thomas Chrysikos, a cleric of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, conferred upon him the title of Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne.
