Head of the Patriarchate of Georgia’s Public Relations Service comments on Easter services
“Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said that the government will do its best to solve the problem for Easter. May God allow us to conduct the celebratory service,” Head of the Patriarchate’s Public Relations Service, Andria Jagmaidze, noted at today’s briefing.
Archbishop Andria Jagmaidze pointed out that the Georgian Orthodox Church follows the recommendations and measures introduced by the Center for Disease Control as well as the government.
Andria Jagmaidze added that “it is too early to talk about how to conduct Easter services as the situation keeps changing rapidly.”
