5th online synaxis from Mt. Athos with Elder Ephraim and young people

The online platform Pemptousia will organize and host the fifth online synaxis, or assembly, from Mount Athos with the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, with children and young people. The online assembly is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 21 at 19.30 Athens time, or 17.30 GMT.

A special online form for participants is found on the pages of Pemptousia and the Orthodoxia news agency.

In a related development, Pemptousia will also host the first digital archontariki with the Metropolitan of Patras, His Eminence Chrysostomos, on Saturday, Jan. 23, and from 19.00 to 21.00 Athens time.

His Eminence will speak on the subject of “The role of the Clergy in the Armed Struggle of 1821”, the Greek War of Independence.
