The Pancretan Association of Melbourne congratulates the new Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, on his election

The Pancretan Association of Melbourne this week issued a statement welcoming the new Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, and congratulating him on his election.

The association expressed particularly satisfaction over the fact that the new Archbishop is of Cretan origin, and a successor of – reposed in Christ Archbishop Stylianos – another native of the large and acclaimed island.
