 Hellenism is alive in a very remote part of the world, and specifically in the city of Bunia, in the eastern Congo.

Archimandrite Timotheos Duba, of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa, serves a handful of Orthodox faithful in the area, while continuing missionary work to baptize more local people into the Christian Orthodox faith.

Last Sunday, for instance, congregants sang the hymn in commemoration of Mary of Egypt, the patron saint of penitents.
