Address by Elder Ephraim at St. Eleftherios Cathedral of Acharnon, Athens

The Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi, last week had the opportunity to share his spiritual experience, monastic life and ministry at the side of 20th century Mount Athos saints, speaking at the St. Eleftherios Cathedral of Acharnon, in central Athens.

The Elder Ephraim, accompanied by Vatopedi Elders, had conveyed the Holy Cincture of the Theotokos, the All-Holy Virgin Mary, from the venerable Mount Athos Monastery to the St. Nicholas Cathedral of Piraeus, where the Holy Relic remained for veneration by the faithful and clergy for nearly two weeks this month.
