Agiasmos Blessing for the commencement of Sunday School Classes for 2023 at the Parish of Saint Haralambos, Templestowe
On Meatfare Sunday, 19 February 2023, an Agiasmos Blessing service took place for the commencement of the new academic year and beginning of Sunday School lessons of the Parish of Saint Haralambos in Templestowe, Melbourne.
The Agiasmos, which was conducted by Parish Priest, Fr. Elias Kentrotis, took place in the function hall of the Parish, immediately after the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy.
Father Elias conveyed to the students, teachers and parents who were present for the blessing, the prayers and wishes of their Shepherd, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, for a blessed and fruitful year.
Moreover, Father Elias congratulated the parents who have chosen to send their children to the Sunday School and urged them to encourage other parents to do the same.
