Archbishop George of Cyprus Offers Condolences to Patriarch John X for the Martyrs of St. Elias Church

Archbishop George of Cyprus expressed his heartfelt condolences for the martyrs of St. Elias Church in Dweilaa during a phone call with His Beatitude John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. During the call, the Archbishop said, “I extend to you and to the families of the martyrs of St. Elias Church the condolences of the Church of Cyprus.” His Beatitude expressed his gratitude to the Archbishop for his fraternal solidarity, praying for mercy upon the martyrs and peace for the world.
