Archbishop Ieronymos: Church’s newest geriatric care unit ready to host, treat former Jerusalem Patriarch Irenaios

Archbishop Ieronymos on Thursday said the newly opened Geriatric Center and Elderly Care Unit in the Dilesi township, due north of Athens, was ready to welcome and treat the former Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, Elder Irenaios, in order to fully restore his health.
The unit was inaugurated earlier this year by Archbishop Ieronymos, in the presence of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I.
