Archbishop of Albania: Places of worship for faithful a source of joy, hope for humanity

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Wednesday chaired a tele-conference with religious leaders in that country, including the Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania, His Beatitude Anastasios.

According to Rama, a committee of experts will decide when restrictive measures to prevent exposure to the coronavirus will be gradually lifted for places of worship, namely, after May 18.

On his part, His Beatitude said places of worship for the faithful are a source of joy and hope for humanity, calling on the Albanian leader to ensure that churches, chapels and other faiths’ temples open after May 18.
