The Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros, was in southern California on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 for the beginning of the 44th annual Greek Orthodox Folk Dance & Choral Festival (FDF), which is taking place in Anaheim.

His Eminence’s attendance at the well-known dance festival comes in light of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople’s announcement, and with the blessing of the Ecumenical Patriarch, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, that the year 2020 will be dedicated to youth.

This year’s event is being organized by the Holy Metropolis of San Francisco.
