Archbishop of Athens & All Greece at 2 school blessings on Wed. for start of new academic year (VIDEO + PHOTOS)
The 2019-2020 academic year began in Greece on Wednesday. The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, officiated at the traditional blessing ceremonies at two Athens-area elementary schools. The Primate of the Church of Greece was joined by Deputy Education & Religious Affairs Minister Sofia Zacharaki.
Afterwards, the Archbishop wished pupils and teachers success in the new academic year.
