Archbishop of Australia Makarios issues new Encyclical to the Archdiocese’s clerics

In another corner of the world, the Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, issued a new encyclical to the Archdiocese’s clerics in the vast island continent.

Makarios said guidelines issued by the Australian government call on cathedrals to remain closed to worshippers, with services and the Divine Liturgies to be celebrated only by a priest and chanter.
