Archbishop of Canada Sotirios receives visiting Greek FM Dendias in Montreal

The Archbishop of Canada, His Eminence Sotirios, this week received visiting Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias in Montreal. Greece’s top diplomat was accompanied by his Canadian counterpart, Mélanie Joly.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Dendias on Wednesday emphasized that “…I visited the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Montreal with the Canadian foreign ministry, and prayed in the memory of the victims of the tragic Tempi accident.”

Dendias also met with representatives of ethnic Greek communities in the large North American country during a luncheon hosted in his and Joly’s honor.
