Archbishopric of Ohrid commemorates Nativity of St. John the Baptist at dedicated Monastery

The Holy Archbishopric of Ohrid on Thursday commemorated the Nativity of St. John the Baptist at the dedicated Monastery of St. Jovan Bigorski, as based on the Julian calendar.

The Great Vespers service and the morning Orthros were officiated by the Bishop of Amorion, His Grace Nikiforos, the Abbot of the Stavropegic and Patriarchal Monastery of Vlatadon, in Thessaloniki.

On the feast day, a festal archieratical service was officiated by the resident Metropolitan of Debar and Kičevo, His Eminence Timotej.

Visiting clerics from the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece, the Patriarchate of Bulgaria, the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania, the Archbishopric of Ohrid and the Holy Monastery officiated at the services.
