Archdiocese of Thyateira & Great Britain – Feedback from the Archdiocesan Foodbank
In December 2020, the Archdiocesan Foodbank was very busy providing hundreds of food and care packages for the homeless, schools, families and individuals in need. A portion of these packs went to a housing estate. We also provided Cook to Care with fresh and dried produce for the month for hot meals prepared for people in need.
We would like to wholeheartedly thank all those who have supported and donated to the Archdiocesan Foodbank, the clergy, laity, parishes, and communities throughout this Archdiocese. A very special thanks to the dynamic volunteers who helped throughout the month to put the packs together and deliver them to beneficiaries. We commend them for the time, dedication, and efforts they have exerted for our sisters and brothers in need.
Although the Holiday Season has come to an end, the needs of those in difficult situations have not. Kindly remember to support this philanthropic ministry of the Archdiocese, which will continue on a regular basis providing those in need with necessities.
