Archieratical Vespers at celebrating Metropolitan Cathedral of Kalamata for Presentation of Christ in the Temple
An archieratical Vespers was held on Tuesday afternoon at the celebrating Metropolitan Cathedral in the extreme southwest Greece city of Kalamata, on the occasion of today’s great feast day of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple.
The Metropolitan of Fthiotida, His Eminence Symeon, officiated at the festal services at the Cathedral, where a wonder-working icon of the Panaghia, the Virgin Mary, is displayed. His Eminence was accompanied by several other Metropolitans and hierarchs, who co-officiated at the service.
