Bishop Athenagoras at Panaghia Church in Island Park, NY
On Sunday, April 3, His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos represented His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America at Panaghia Church in Island Park, New York. His Grace presided over Divine Liturgy and at the Greek Independence Day celebration presented by the students of the Greek School. Congratulations to Principal Mrs. Georgia Papathanasiou, the students, teachers, and parents for their incredibly hard work and dedication to the community. Ζήτω η Ελλάδα! The pious and thriving Panaghia Church community is led by the beloved Fr. George Kazoulis and with the unwavering support of Presvytera Dimitra.
