Bishop of Niksic recounts three days of incarceration by Montenegro police; bemoans continued persecution by state

The Bishop of Niksic, His Grace Joanikije, spoke this week about the three days he remained jailed by authorities in Montenegro last month, while touching on the provocations and violence now faced by the Orthodox Church and its faithful in the small Adriatic country.
Among others, His Grace said he prayed, rested, read a book and wrote, but at the same time condemned as unfathomable the violence exercised by the current Montenegro government against the Church, and especially youth.
