Bishop of Orehovo-Zuevо chairs online meeting with heads of Russian Metropolises’ social ministry programs

The Bishop of Orehovo-Zuevо, His Grace Panteleimon, the chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Ministry, this week met with the heads of Metropolises’ social ministry programs.

Specifically, 219 officials from 134 ecclesiastical jurisdictions of the Russian Orthodox Church convened in an online assembly, with the main topics discussed being the Church’s social services amid the ongoing pandemic — such as care for patients, and the entrance of clerics in health and social services institutions.
