Blessing service at St Basil’s Homes for the aged in Victoria, Australia
The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia – District of Northcote Victoria has issued the following announcement regarding this week’s blessing service at St Basil’s Homes.
The announcement reads:
Dear friends,
By the Grace of God, the Archiepiscopal Vicar for the District of Northcote, the Very Reverend Evmenios Vasilopoulos, conducted a blessing service this week at St Basil’s Homes for the aged in Victoria, to welcome back the residents to the Home. The board and Management are now working with Government authorities towards commencing admissions.
We thank the independent nurse advisor for his support and confidence in the management and staff of the Home who with enthusiasm continue to offer dedication and care to the residents.We will ensure to have weekly updates on how the Home is progressing after the unexpected outbreak.
