Celebrating the Name Day of Archbishop Makarios of Australia in Melbourne and Sydney
As part of the celebration of the name day of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, celebratory dinners will be organised in Melbourne and Sydney, with the participation of the clergy and the devout faithful of these two major cities.
In Melbourne, the celebratory dinner will be hosted at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park Hotel on Saturday, 17 January 2026 (from 7:00 p.m.).
The corresponding event in Sydney will take place at the Le Montage function venue on Monday, 19 January 2026 (from 6:00 p.m.), the feast day of the Archbishop of Australia’s patron saint, Saint Makarios the Great.
