Celebration of the Jubilee in Old Ras

The Diocese of Raska-Prizren prayerfully celebrated 8 September 2019 in the church of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul near Novi Pazar significant jubilees: 1000 years of the first written mention of the Diocese of Raska and 8 centuries of the autocephaly of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and Their Graces Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren, Justin of Zica, Joakim of Polog-Kumanovo, Atanasije of Milesevo and Dimitrije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina with clergy and faithful people with the students of the Seminary of Prizren who sang responses.
