Church attorney emphasizes that ‘last will’ of reposed Metropolitan Amphilochios a forgery

The chief legal adviser for the Serbian Orthodox Church’s Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, Dalibor Kavarić, this week categorically stated that a so-called “last will” attributed to reposed Metropolitan Amphilochios is a forgery.

The attorney issued a relevant statement after social media circulated the forgery.

In Bucharest, the national ecclesiastical council of the Romanian Patriarchate on Tuesday announced that it allocated 38 million euros in 2020 for charitable purposes, an increase of 17.6 percent compared to 2019.
